Reduction of the use of LAL in the endotoxin assay

New innovations for LAL assays have emerged in recent years, such as the Sievers Eclipse BET platform. The Eclipse analyzer uses microfluidic technology and centripetal force to precisely deliver small volumes of liquid to specific segments of the microplate, drastically reducing the amount of reagent needed and simplifying setup. Eclipse requires only 1 ml of lysate and guarantees a 1:1 sample to lysate ratio for each assay.
