Elemental analysis for the monitoring of process gases in the petrochemical industry

Controlling the sulphur content in process gases is an essential requirement for ensuring the quality, safety and efficiency of petrochemical processes. This article presents the capabilities of Nittoseiko Analytech’s NSX-5000 series for the elemental determination of sulphur in natural gas through a real-world application note, whilst also highlighting its versatility for analysing other gas streams found in the petrochemical industry and its potential application in new renewable gases such as biogas.
