Small size buoy powered by solar panels and telemetry, for placement of YSI multiparametric probes for water quality monitoring.

It provides quick and easy access to water quality data measured by YSI multiparameter probes, allowing the measurement interval to be set by remote control.

The system can be installed by a single person, reducing installation and maintenance costs. No crane or divers are required for installation.

The availability of GSM or GPRS communication for downloading the data measured by the probe provides more information and a quick alert before possible water contamination events and saves field visits for data downloading.

Housing: High impact resistant polyurethane filled with insulating foam.

Probe: any of the YSI 6-series and 6-V2-series probe models, which can measure: Depth, Conductivity, Temperature, pH, ORP, Redox Potential, Dissolved Oxygen, Chlorophyll, Phycocyanins or Phycoerythrins, Rhodamine and Turbidity.

Software: software must be installed on the computer where the data is to be received.

Telemetry: GSM modem or GPRS communication available.

Signaling: not included, amber flashing light optional.
