Oven with controller for measuring rotational viscosity in solid samples at room temperature.

  • Less than 13mL of sample is used.
  • Safe heating up to 300ºC
  • Suitable for hot melts, waxes, polymers and asphalts.
  • It is compatible with all standard Brookfield viscometers.

It consists of:

  • Temperature controller and temperature probe.
  • Thermocontainer with protective jacket and insulation cover.
  • Alignment support.
  • One stainless steel chamber and 5 disposable aluminum chambers.
  • Spindle (One to choose according to range)
  • Cooling assembly.
  • Elements for fastening the spindle to the viscometer shaft.
  • Extraction tongs and camera support plate.
Temperature range. From 15ºC above ambient up to 300ºC.
Temperature programmable to a single point or up to 10 points.
Resolution: 0.1ºC.
Reading accuracy: ±0.5ºC up to 100ºC; ±1ºC from 101ºC to 200ºC; ±2ºC from 201ºC to 300ºC.
Holding accuracy: Within 0.3ºC of set temperature.
RS-232 output for control from Rheocalc software.
