HydroSCOUT is a portable equipment that quantifies the water concentration in a variety of matrices, (oil, paint, solvents, liquid waste, soils, inks, etc.) HydroSCOUT allows to quantify the water content of used oils in two ranges: from 0 to 20% and from 10 to 100%.

It is a simple and inexpensive determination, which can be performed at the point of collection or in the laboratory. This method is ideal for accurately determining the water content in used oil prior to acceptance or treatment. HydroSCOUT complies with USEPA SW-846 DRAFT Method 9001.

Dimensions: 5.9 “(150 mm) x 3.2” (81 mm) x 1.8 “(46 mm) (Length x Width x Height)
Weight: 261 gr
Power supply: 1x 9V alkaline lithium battery (included)
Battery life: 10,000 measurements or 10 years of service life (using a 1200 mAh lithium battery)
Test time: approx. 3 minutes
Operating temperature: 4°C to 40°C
Range 0 to 20%.
All reagents are supplied dosed and sealed in glass ampoules to ensure reliable and accurate results.
Results are obtained in 2 minutes. The reagents are available in boxes of 40 assays.
Range 10 to 100%.

Determination of the water content for concentrations above 10% requires an additional step using a dilution vial. Dilution vials are available in boxes of 12 units.

Suitable for:
. Determination of water content in used oils.
. Determination of water content in oils, paints, solvents, inks, liquid waste.
