Spiral Adapter (SAA) - Accessory for non-flowing pasty products

The SAA is designed to measure heavy paste viscosity in materials such as solder paste, cosmetics, pharmaceuticals, food products and other non-flowing products. It provides variable shear rates to detect pseudoplastic and thixotropic behavior. The spiral adapter is attached to a Brookfield viscometer with the chamber immersed in the sample and the motor running. The sample is pumped and reaches a constant flow rate. Tangential strain rate is 0.677 seconds per rpm. Compatible with any standard Brookfield viscometer / rheometer. Includes:
