Seta Existent Gum Solid Block Bath – Steam or Air

Five-position solid-block bath for testing existing rubber compounds in accordance with ASTM D381, for operation with air or steam. Includes a built-in steam superheater.

The bath has a temperature range of 140 °C to 260 °C and is controlled by a calibrated digital temperature controller that displays both the set temperature and the actual bath temperature measured by a probe for test temperatures of 155 °C and 232 °C. The steam or air flow rate is adjusted via an inlet control valve and monitored on a Bourdon gauge calibrated to 1000 ml/s, ±150 ml/s at each outlet at the test temperature.
