– The Isco 2160 flow measurement module uses Laser Doppler technology for velocity measurement and an ultrasonic sensor for level measurement, combining both measurements to perform flow measurement in open channels by area-velocity, with a very low maintenance sensor that is not in contact with the liquid.
– The sensor has an advanced technology that allows it to use a laser light beam to measure at a single point or at up to 15 different points below the surface of the wastewater.
– It is an ideal sensor for raw wastewater measurement applications where other technologies require a high frequency of sensor cleaning.
