The L2000 DXT meter measures the amount of PCB contained in oil or soil samples. It uses a specific chloride electrode as a measurement system. The instrument transforms the amount of chlorides detected into an equivalent amount of PCBs, giving a direct reading of the PCB content in mg/l. The instrument allows the selection of different types of PCBs giving the possibility to choose between three options, when the type of PCB is known: Aroclor 1242, Aroclor 1260 or Askarel A.
