RHOTEC is a high-precision density sensor for the determination of densities and concentrations (e.g. of acids, caustics, emulsions or solvents). The sensor can be used, for example, for phase detection and monitoring of crystallization processes. It continuously measures the density of liquids according to the oscillating U-tube principle. It is easy to use and maintenance-free.

  • The system determines the frequency of a U-shaped tube through which the liquid flows.
  • As a specific property of each liquid, the correlation between concentration and density can be described by a mathematical polynomial.
  • Any temperature drift of the measured signal is automatically compensated by an internal Pt1000 sensor.
  • RHOTEC displays various units, e.g. vol.%, % by mass, ºBrix and ºPlato.
