A moisture analyser specifically designed for precise measurement in hydrofluorocarbons (HFCs) and modern refrigerants. These gases present particular challenges: keeping high-boiling-point compounds in the gas phase and preventing moisture instability due to their chemical nature.
The Iceman incorporates an automatic dual-heating vapourisation system, a thermal sensor and a heat exchanger that conditions the gas just before it enters the cell. This design ensures accuracy and stability, and eliminates the need for multiple spot samples, thereby reducing the risk of contamination.
It is a portable, robust unit with a NEMA 4X enclosure, an internal battery and simple operation, ideal for both field and laboratory use.
