PCS Instruments’ HFRR is the industry’s leading equipment for analyzing diesel fuel lubricity. As well as the only supplier of equipment specified in the following test methods: ISO 12156-1, ASTM D6079, ASTM D7688.

This new generation of the HFRR incorporates a number of improvements, such as active environmental control, which replaces less accurate passive methods, and the elimination of the need to use salt solutions for humidity control. This allows faster achievement of humidity and ambient temperature targets with even tighter tolerances.

It includes updated software that allows tracking of individual users and provides access control over calibration, while the HFRR’s compact size conserves valuable lab space without compromising performance.

Other quality and durability improvements include a stainless steel interior for easy cleaning, visual and audible signals indicating test completion, and a unique self-diagnostic feature that identifies potential machine malfunctions, improving maintenance efficiency and reducing downtime.
