Accelerated ageing testing enables the assessment of beer’s shelf life, stability and tendency to deteriorate through controlled temperature cycles. Samples are subjected to repeated thermal profiles until the first signs of turbidity appear, as detected by photometry. This method helps to predict, in a short space of time, how beer will behave during actual storage and is key to quality control in breweries.

The DYNEO DD‑1201F‑BF incorporates all the temperature profiles required to carry out the test on both stabilised and untreated beers. The equipment allows programmes to be adjusted easily and at any time, facilitating a forced ageing process that is reproducible, traceable and optimised for production.
