Clor-D-Tect is a rapid and safe test for quantifying the chlorine content in used oils, solvents and organic liquids in the range of 200 to 4000 ppm. Clor-D-Tect Q4000 is a proven test for measuring chlorine in crankcase oil, hydraulic oil, diesel fuel, lubricating oils and virtually any hydrocarbon-based solvent. Each kit contains the reagents dosed in sealed ampoules and accessories needed to perform the test.
Clor-D-Tect is a quick and easy-to-use test for the quantitative on-site determination of chlorine content in waste oils.
Method of detection: quantitative colorimetric titration.
Analysis time: 5 minutes.
Action levels: 200 – 4000 ppm
