CCI 1000 FAD – Flexible automatic drawer

CCI 1000 FAD is a non-destructive vacuum leak tester equipped with an automatic test chamber optimised for flexible and semi-rigid non-porous packaging, such as:

• Sachets
• Stick packs
• Pouches
• Bags
• Medical Devices

The automatic test chamber allows larger formats, up to 700 × 400 mm, to be tested with minimal effort on the part of operators. The operator simply places the samples in the chamber and starts the test. The instrument automatically moves the samples to the test position and activates the vacuum. The CCI 1000 FAD has been designed to increase workload and allow multiple samples to be tested in a single cycle. Operating principle: The operating principle is simple and precise. The chamber consists of two flexible membranes. When the operator starts the test, the upper membrane automatically lowers to cover the sample, creating a vacuum. The membranes envelop the container being tested hermetically, but without exerting pressure or damaging the sample. The CCI 1000 FAD measures the pressure variation in a few seconds. Software: The design and concept of the software are intended to ensure:

• Ease of use
• Completeness of information, both for routine QC and for R&D
• Data protection and integrity, through multi-level passwords, data export capability
• Possibility to extend to CFR 21 part 11 standard compliant (Audit trail and data integrity assurance)
• Report

• Non-destructive leak detection in containers.
• Detection of pores and micropores in vials, ampoules, and flexible and semi-rigid containers.
