Applications:
The instrument measures according to the latest continuously closed cup flash point standards (CCCFP), ASTM D6450 and ASTM D7094. Excellent correlation with traditional methods such as ASTM D56 (TAG), ASTM D93 (Pensky Martens).
Ignition: By electric arc, with self-cleaning.
No flame or ignitors. The sample is always in a hermetically sealed cup, ventilating the sample after each test by means of a micro pump to simulate the opening of the cup.
Detection: By increasing the pressure inside the cup.
Sample volume: 1 or 2 ml depending on the selected standard.
IQ/OQ procedure available.
0 to 200 ºC in standard version
-25 to 200 ºC cooling with water/Chiller
0 to 420 ºC with optional heating module ( EF01-HTM )
