The SV10 analyzer revolutionizes S-value testing as the first fully automatic ASTM D7157-compliant analyzer, featuring a high-precision measuring cell with unique temperature control.

The SV10 incorporates a significant improvement in handling, accuracy and test duration. Simple and easy to use, the SV10 does not require any user intervention during the test, and comes with all programs ready for the different sample types described in ASTM D7157. In addition, the SV10 eliminates all safety risks related to the handling of hazardous solvents.

The SV10 is capable of measuring samples with an asphaltene concentration of <0.4%.

It is compatible with crude oils, heavy fuel oils, residues, bitumens, marine fuels (VLSFO, ULSFO,...), asphalt-free oils, tar sands crude oils, emulsions...

The presence of coke particles does not affect the SV10 measurement, so it is not necessary to remove coke particles before performing a test.

Allows:

- Monitoring and optimization of refinery processes: distillation, cracking (thermal, hydrocracking) and visbreaking units.
- Prediction and optimization of oil blending: marine, power plants, ...
- The monitoring and optimization of oil sands dilution with light spikes in the field.
- Bitumen analysis and mix optimization.
