Accessories

Portable equipment for velocity profiling, bathymetry and flow calculation in rivers, reservoirs, canals, etc. It integrates 9 ADCP (Acoustic Doppler Current Profiler) beams, 4 of 3.0 Mhz / 4 of 1.0 Mhz and 1 of 0.5 Mhz for the measurement of velocity distributions and flow calculation, magnetic declination measurement sensor, temperature sensor and inclination measurement sensor. In hydrology, the ADCP (Acoustic Doppler Current Profiler) is used for gauging in non-wadeable sections either from the banks, suspended from footbridges or viaducts or operated from boats. By using ADCP it is possible to know the value, at the moment, of the flow rate through a section, as well as other parameters of special interest such as the area, velocity distribution, as well as the angles and temperature of the flow.
