The Indicated Cetane Number (ICN) provides a more accurate assessment of diesel ignition quality than the Cetane Index (CI), as it directly measures fuel performance and considers the effect of additives. The AFIDA analyser allows automated testing of conventional, synthetic and renewable fuels, complying with international standards and being suitable for certification, R&D and quality control.
