A3P Rabs & Isolators – Learning Center / Annex 1 / Retro-fit / APIs / Fill & Finish

The new Annex 1 has focused on reducing the risks of product contamination in the manufacturing processes of a sterile product, especially when it is an aseptic process and not a terminal sterilization process. To this end, one of the main objectives has been to prevent people, the main source of contamination, from being in the same area as the exposed product or from carrying out manipulations in that area. The use of RABS or isolators has been the most commonly used solution to meet these requirements.

The seminar will explain the requirements of Annex 1, the reasons for selecting RABS or isolators, the pros and cons of each of them and practical cases of how to move from a “classic” laminar flow installation to an installation that complies with the new requirements, using barrier systems (RABS and isolators).

This event of A3P (Association for Clean and Parenterals Products). Conferences and practical workshops on Annex 1 / Retro-fit / APIs / Fill & Finish, will take place in Madrid on March 14, 2024.
