Accuracy and Reliability

One of the fundamental requirements in industrial processes and laboratories that comply with any standard is to ensure the traceability of measurements made throughout the process. This traceability is achieved through the calibration of the measuring equipment involved in the processes.

The calibration of equipment consists of comparing the measurements of an instrument with a more accurate reference standard to guarantee the traceability, quality, and reliability of the services provided.

The Instrumentación Analítica Calibration Laboratory began its activity in 2013, becoming the first national laboratory to obtain UNE-EN ISO/IEC 17025 accreditation for the calibration of rotational viscometers(*) and we are constantly developing new calibration procedures to meet the most demanded needs of our clients both in our network of laboratories and at our clients’ facilities, offering our services as a Calibration Laboratory in both the accredited magnitudes under UNE-EN ISO/IEC 17025 (*) and in other non-accredited magnitudes and equipment, performing calibrations under our Quality Management System, which has been certified according to the BS EN ISO 9001 standard.

The laboratory performs calibrations both at its facilities and on site, adapting to customer needs. It also offers technical advice and management of measuring equipment.

We have ENAC accreditation according to the UNE-EN ISO/IEC 17025 standard, which guarantees the technical competence and reliability of its results.

The laboratory specializes in the calibration of dynamic viscosity, temperature, pressure, optical, pH, conductivity and other analytical instrumentation.

All calibrations are performed with standards traceable to national and international organizations, ensuring the validity of the results.
