ASTM D2622 as reference method for sulfur testing of gasoline and diesel fuels

On January 1, 2021, EPA’s streamlining and updating of the fuel regulations contained in CFR40 Part 80 and 40 CFR 40 Part 1090 went into effect. Laboratories analyzing U.S. gasoline and diesel fuels have been working hard to ensure full compliance with the changes, which include reaffirmation of ASTM D2622 as the reference method for sulfur testing.
